My new ionic had been syncing fine until Tuesday. Thursday evening at about 1024 was the last time it successfully synced. Yesterday I tried restarting phone, uninstalling app and reinstalling. None of this worked, so today I unpaired the ionic and tried to repair it. Now it won't properly connect. It says that it's found it, but won't connect to it.

Having tried restarting your phone without any luck I would try restarting the Ionic by:
Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
