Is Samsung Core A2 compatible with Fitbit?

My mum has a Samsung Core A2 and whilst she has managed to sync it with her Fitibit (she can see the number of steps etc on the app) she isn’t receiving notifications of texts/phone calls. Is this a compatibility issue please? Many Thanks.

@meltipp A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned. 

 

The Samsung Core A2 isn't listed as a compatible device. However, I'd like you to make sure that it has a compatible operating system installed, which should be Android OS 7.0 or higher. Also double check that this procedure has been followed in order to receive notifications.
