Is Samsung Galaxy S8 compatible?

I can't find any recent posts about the Blaze compatibility problems with the Galaxy S8. Has the compatibility problems been corrected. I am considering getting a Samsung Galaxy S8. My Blaze currently works great with my Galaxy S3 and I don't want to lose either notifications or have battery drain.  Thanks for your help

The S8 is on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

Why do you think there may be an issue?

It's great to see you around @Visualtps and @SteveH thanks for stopping by.

I just want to let you know that I have moved your post from the Blaze board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.

Regarding your inquiry, as our friend mentioned, Samsung Galaxy S8 is a compatible phone, you can check the list of compatible devices by clicking here.

The reason I think there is an issue is all the posts of problems with compatibility between the S8 and Blaze specifically notifications and battery drain even though the S8 was listed as compatible.  Fitbit even posted a while back that it was an issue with the S8 using bluetooth 5.0 and it required an S8 update in order to work.  I've been waiting to get an S8 until I was sure all problems have been resolved.

@Visualtps  it does work. Until last week, I was using a Blaze with my Samsung S8. Now I'm using an Alta HR.

When I was thinking of updating my S4 Galaxy phone, I hesitated, but the switch was flawless. No problems and I love the new phone.
