Hi, I've just bought a Samsung A10 and can't sync it with my Fitbit alta. Is it compatible ? is there something I need to do to my phone to sync. I previously has an iPhone and it was easy.

Still no joy, update isn't available for me yet, I think samsung send out so many at a time as my partner had the update yesterday.
I'll be patient and hopefully it plays out.

I have a charge 2 and don't know the Alta but here goes.
When you say you have the most up to date software are you talking about fitbit software or the Samsung software because there is a difference.
Do you Know which fitbit release your app is using.?
I only know charge 2 and the release information may be different.
My A10 was not syncing after release 3.10. 3.11 did no good either. The day after I updated to 3.11 I installed the latest Samsung software. Whatever was in there allowed the tracker and phone to connect. Maybe a fix of some sort. I can only guess. But my Galaxy A10 has been syncing for the last 2 days.
I hope this may help. I can only say what I have experienced myself. It may be worth checking if there is any new Samsung software for your Alta unless you already have it. Good luck.

There are so many people out there having problems. I am so grateful that mine is working now. It was really frustrating to keep trying and nothing working. Fingers crossed for a bit of luck for you soon.

Have you got the latest samsung software updated on your phone. My A10 started syncing again when I installed mine 3 days ago. Fitbit release 3.10 and 3.11 were no help. Try updating the Samsung software. They seem to have put a fix patch in there. Worth a try.

Hi, got my fitbit update yesterday and now my watch (alta) is the wrong time and it wont sync. Was working ok up till the update. Any idea what I can do to get it working again.

Check to see if you have latest samsung software update on your phone. It might just be sitting waiting to be installed. Samsung have done a recent software update which seems to have a fix it patch. It may not work for you but it has solved a lot of problems for forum members. It is worth a try. Post back with how you get on please. Good luck.

It was after the new update that it stopped working. It used to sync and would tell me who was calling and texting before but now doesn't sync at all. Even the time is wrong

Which Fitbit release are you using. My Charge 2 tracker stopped syncing with my Galaxy A10 when Fitbit released 3.10. Nothing the Fitbit team said helped. Fitbit release 3.11 did nothing to help either.
What did help was installing the latest Samsung software which is completely different. The fitbit release is for the app. The Samsung software is for the phone.

On your Samsung phone
Go into settings
Scroll down to software update
There should be 3 options
1. Download and install.
This will give you the date last checked. (Mine was November 28th 2019)
2. Auto download over wifi. This should be switched on.
3. Last update. (My last update was done on 28th November 2019.)
It should tell you if there is any recent software to download and install. If there is just follow the instructions.

Done the upgrade and its syncing now. Doesn't give notifications yet but I'm so happy its syncing. Thank you so much

Notifications.
On my charge 2 tracker there us a button on the left hand side. If you click on it it should scroll through left to right until it comes to notifications. If I press on that it holds and an option comes up to turn on of off.

I have a boostmobile Samsung SE10 MODEL NUMBER: SM-A 102U
I have the same problem where the bluetooth will not connect it at all and I personally need one that is extremely close to this one that tracks how many steps I take, heart rate, sleep score.
