Phone restarts and reinstallation are just "rinse and repeat".  Been much like this since purchase in September

 

I'm using an Inspire 2 and OnePlus 6T on Android 10 app version 3.36.1

 

Possibly should have bought a Samsung as that never failed in the two years owned...

I also have a Samsung Galaxy phone, and have not had any problem with notifications.

My phone is a OnePlus 6T as stated in the OP.  For clarification, the Samsung Gear Sport 2 Pro didn't fail to notify me until it catastrophically failed during a 30-min swim in September, hence the Inspire 2.
