Okay so I have two mobile devices a tablet and a phone. Until just today I had used the app on my tablet to sync. I only put it on my phone today because I plan on going for long walks and wnat the map part to track it. Well, now it will sync on my phone no problem but on my tablet it says "Looking for device" and then "Device not found." Is that normal or does my portable stuff just have to be that different from all other devices?

I also have a tablet and phone and what I find is that I can only have syncing working to one at a time.
If I have synced to the phone and still have bluetooth running then I can't sync to the tablet (and vice versa). So, what I do is keep bluetooth switched off on my phone when I am home and it syncs fine with the tablet. Then, when I am out and want to sync then I switch on bluetooth and the tablet is sufficiently out of range to not interfere.

thanks I think it must have something to do with mobile tracking because before I could test it out on my phone I needed to let my phone charge (Dang app took 20% of my battery life just to download the thing.) so, even though I had the bluetooth on I hadn't signed in to the app on my phone a that point.
I wonder if it will work if my phone is turned off? and it then will sync to my tablet. I only want to use it on my phone when I am going out for a walk or at cedarpoint this october. (I am betting it will say by the end of the day that I walked 30,000 steps there.

Baisically @Newfitkitty if both devices are nearby, this could mean up to 100 feet, because of limitations with Bluetooth, you will need to turn the Bluetooth off on the device you do not want to sync through.
