Issues joining private groups

I've been getting invitations to join private groups on the fitbit app. When I click on the button to 'JOIN GROUP' it gives me the attached notification about assigning at least one admin for its members. I used to be able to join groups without issues, bit this has been happening in the past two weeks with all private group invitations sent to me. How do I fix this? Is there a setting that I've hit by accident preventing me to accept?

I think I've figured this problem out. I just left a few groups and rejoined, without problems. I think there is a limit to the amount of private groups I can join, even though the message says something totally different
