Hello everybody,
Does the LG G3S is compatible with the FitBIT Alta?
If not, there any possibility to upgrade the app on the playstore? I have one of this phone and a Fitbit Alta was given to me for my birthday.
Thanks
Damien

@Malicia84 To add to @Dragonfruit's response, the LG G3S has all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that our Android team has not yet tested it for compatibility and added it to the list. If the device supports BLE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0), I recommend giving the setup flow a try.
If setup does not work, I recommend setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

Hi Damien,
The LG G3S isn't a compatible device so you may experience problems syncing and/or not be able to use all the features.
The current Fitbit app version is 2.52

Did you just respond then set your own answer as accepted solution?
What a joke.

@Dragonfruit Yes, that's the solution for the time being until the device is listed as compatible.

The solution is supposed to be accepted by the author; not you.
My reply to the op was no less a solution than your response.

@Dragonfruit As a Moderator, my role is to accept solutions so others who are searching may easily find it in addition to moderating content that is not following our Community Guidelines.
Hope that helps to clarify my role and why the above was accepted as a solution until the device is added to the Fitbit.com/devices page.

@Dragonfruit and @ErickFitbit,
Thanks for all for your answer.
I've tested the Fitbit App on my device and it works.
But I cant' use use all the features, for example I can't receveid SMS and call notification. To sum up I think the FITBIT App for LG G3S have the same features than the LG LG2 (who are in the list of supported devices)
Can I expected an Fitbit App update's for my device to received sms and call notifications?

Yes, it's because it's not compatible until tested and Fitbit make any required modifications to the app.
