Welcome to the Forums @SunsetRunner.

Congratulations on your new Charge 3!

This might be happening because the Stylo 4 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

just want to throw this out there as it might save some a lot of wasted time.  my stylo 4 and fitbit works great but I have had it to for whatever reason loose the connection and not be able to sync no matter what you do UNTIL I simply restarted my phone and it synced just fine.

I think it depends on which phone company you have. I had an LG Stylo 4 with Boost Mobile, then that phone was stollen so I went to buy a new Stylo 4 & switched carriers & now my charge 3 won't pair with my Stylo 4..it paired with my other Stylo 4. Hmm

@RachelBeeson, In your case I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. Some users with phones that aren't on the list have mentioned that following those steps has helped them.

Thankfully my Fitbit charge 3 now syncs. I needed to update my phone software. Try restarting your phone, maybe that will work. Good look.

So what is it going to take to get Fitbit to start expanding their app to work with other phones? I don't know ANY OTHER COMPANY who says, "Sorry you can't use our app because we can't make it work with your phone!" All the other app devs are vigilant about working out compatibility. Some of these folks here have brand new phones, with models less than 2 years on the market, but a Fitbit with less than 2 years on the market can't sync with them? That's just ridiculous.

I spent 3 years fiddling with a Fitbit Flex and my Stylo 3 and got that line every single time I had a syncing issue. So I went out and upgraded my phone and upgraded my Fitbit. Sorry, you can't tell me after buying a brand new phone and a $150 Fitbit that you're not even going to try to add some of the most popular phones (that aren't Apple or Samsung ofc) to your compatibility list?

Seriously, get on the stick, devs. It's about time this old excuse becomes obsolete.
