Last sync not reflected in challenges

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Greetings.

While my dashboard shows all my latest counts, the challenges show my time last synced to be hours ago, & the steps since that time are not reflected in the challenges. I'm using the Fitbit app Version 3.1 (20213410) on an HTC U12+ running Android 8.0.0.

I will appreciate all help with this problem.

Hi @fortebanger. I'm glad to see you around! I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for the information provided, and I'll help you with the challenges not syncing correctly. Let me share that your HTC U12+ isn't a fully supported device, and this may affect how the information syncs and displays on the Fitbit app. That being said, please give a try to the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone’s settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.

  3.

Then, go back to the previous screen and tap on the option “Force stop”.

  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log in to your account.
  6. Sync your Fitbit device and check your challenges.

Keep me posted.

Thank you for your response, LizzyFitbit.

First & foremost, the issue has since been resolved, and it seems to have been a problem on Fitbit's end.

I had already tried most of the steps you suggested, but to no avail. Furthermore, other users, including iPhone users, had the same problem in the same challenges. I'm already aware that Fitbit has chosen for some reason to abandon support for HTC devices, but if the problem had been due to an unsupported device, the iPhones, which are supported, would not have encountered the exact same problem.

Thanks, however, for making the effort to address the issue with the resources available to you.

Hi @fortebanger, welcome back. I'm glad to see you here, and I'm sorry for my delayed response.

You're welcome. Thanks to you for your efforts while trying the steps posted above. Some HTC phones are included in the official list, and our team is working hard to add as many devices as they can but in this case, we can't assure the Fitbit App will be working flawless with this model. I appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and our best suggestion is to use with a compatible device, to sync your information and challenges.

Catch you later.
