Latest Android update constantly shows sync status

Hi

The latest Android update has a very annoying issue. It keeps showing me the latest sync status with my Fitbit. When I click on the notification it goes away but it is very very annoying to see a notification every few minutes. I have checked the notification settings in the app and there is nothing to disable this one.

Please fix this. I'm this close to uninstalling the app which would make the Fitbit itself useless to me!

Mine did that also. I went into the notifications on my phone under settings> notifications and turned notifications from fitbit off. Hope this works for you the update seemed to turn this back on in the phone settings.

I'm having the same issue.  Happens about every 5 to 10 minutes.   Very annoying.   Tried to go to settings and notifications to turn things off, didn't help.  I'm also about ready to stop using the device.

Just checked my phone try this. Open your fitbit app. Tap the picture of you devise at the top right of the app this will bring a settings page. Scroll down to app notifications, tap that. Next screen will show what notifications it can send. Text etc. scroll down to app notifications tap that it should open the app notification section of your phone scroll to fitbit app turn off notifications for the app.

I have turned off all notifications and I'm still getting the icon. Shortly after I go into the app to sync it again so the icon will go away but it just keeps popping back up a few minutes later.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note8, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
