Location Services randomly works, not tracking location

Ever since the July update, my location services randomly connects and disconnects on my Pixel 2. So I randomly track my runs.

I noticed that

Excercise->Run->Start

Will try to connect to location services with the spinning arrow...and sometimes works and sometimes does not work. And during runs it just randomly stops tracking.

First the Bluetooth sucked and now this. How hard can it be? I tried all the reboot, reloads, sacrificing virgins and praying to several different gods. That did not work either.

Anyone else?

@dreezman It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

I'd like you to confirm that "location services" has been set to "Always" instead of just when using the app, this could be the reason why sometimes it tracks your whole activity and other not.

Also you may want to check this article to learn more about tips for using the Fitbit app on your Android phone.

Let me know how it goes.

@dreezman Those are great news!

Keep it up the good work! Next time, remember there's no need to sacrifice virgins 😅
