Log Previous Activity Won't Show Distance

When I add biking via the "log previous acticity" option, the distance isn't added to my overall distance on the dashboard, the calories are, though. If I add it as "walking", it does add up the distance. Am I doing something wrong?

Does it matter that I have no watch currently synced? I am trying out the app before I purchase one. I use the stationary bike mostly so I know I will have to manually add it each time with the information the bike gives me.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forums @AnnaWeber.

Thanks for bringing this up and letting us know about what is happening with the bike runs.

In this case I'd like to ask you to share some screenshots exemplifying what you mentioned. That should help me determine what is happening and thus find the best way to move forward to get this situation resolved.

In the meantime I'd like to recommend that you try to log out of your account and then log back in. That would force all data to be downloaded from the servers once again.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Here are screen shots. The bike milage isn't reflected in the miles on the
dashboard.

Thanks!

Hello @AnnaWeber.

Thanks for your quick reply with those screenshots.

As I mentioned above, did you try to log out of your account and then log back in? It is possible that it could help in getting it to work.

I look forward to your reply.

I did try that process. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Hello @AnnaWeber.

Thanks for trying to log out as I recommended.

In this case I'd like to ask you a couple of details:

  • What phone are you using?
  • What Android version is it running?
  • What Fitbit app version do you have installed at the time?

In the meantime I'd like to ask you to log to your account via our website and check your Dashboard that way to see if the distance is accurate on those details.

I look forward to your reply.
