The for the Walk exercise, the android app only allows adding walking in miles.  Steps were an option on the desktop, but that's not supported in the app.  Will this be corrected?

Nope, the app has always been distance. The user should know about how many steps they take per mile or KM which is easier to count them individual steps.

Sorry even on the web. No

See my screen shot above. Only, Start Time, Duration, distance, calories. I've been with Fitbit 10+ years., never been able to directly add steps.

On the web app, if you click on the down arrow beside 'miles' you can select kilometers or steps.  Please see my screenshot below.

I'm asking why this option isn't provided in the Android App with Google discontinuing the web app.
