Login SSL Error Protocol

Hi everyone,

Can anyone advise on this error? Whenever i try to login to Fitbit Account it would encounter a SSL Protocol Error. I have tried ignoring the SSL error using a separate webview to replace the authentication webview which receives the SSL error. I cant seem to login in the Fitbit Account. Below are some of the screenshots of the error.

Thank You

Hello there @edfroggy, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community and thank you for bring this error to my attention. Have you tried to log in using the web-Dashboard? Is the issue limited only to your Fitbit app?

I've seen this error in iOS users and this is the first time I saw a similar case with an Android device, So borrowing troubleshooting steps from the iOS board, have you tried to log in to your account by turning off your WiFi and using your cellular data only?

Other solution and I can suggest at this moment is to go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around!

I have seen this issue on both iOS and Android.  I've not seen an explanation, but sometimes if you complain loud enough on the forum, the problems go away.

Hi Roberto,

I have tried all the methods as mentioned, but the SSL protocol error still persist.

Are there any other developers facing the same issue as i am? Any other ways i can solve that issue?

Thank you!

None of those are going to help with an SSL error.  Those are the only troubleshooting steps available, that's all.

You guys are having problems integrating with Cloudflare and/or some of Cloudflare's features are interfering with your software.

Instead of telling us to do placebo busywork, fix the infrastructure.  Or give us actual troubleshooting steps or procedures to do.
