Hello @SpecialkNYC, let me start by giving you a proper welcome to the Fitbit Community. Our teams are aware of the issue and are looking into this to released a fix in a future update.
At the moment make sure you are running the latest version for Android, which is 2.50. As a workaround also: Go to Apps > Google Play Services > Permissions, then allow it to use phone and storage and try to log in again.
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Best AnswerI just installed my fitbit a month ago. Wouldn't that have automatically uploaded the latest version? The fitbit app crashes my phone and then it goes into a cycle of trying to reboot without success. I have to go home and put it on my fast charger before I'm able to use my phone again. I'm going to have to quit using your app until you resolve this.

Hello @agould, it's nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community. Note that we are releasing regular updates of the Fitbit app, where our product team addresses different bugs or fixes for stability of the app.
These updates if you don't have the option on your phone of "Auto -update" the apps will remain with older versions until you manually install the updates.
If you are experiencing issues with the app, give it a try to the following steps I mentioned here for more help.
See you around and let me know if you have more questions.

I noticed your Community profile doesn't show any tracker paired, so I'm wondering if you are having troubles pairing your tracker due to the app is crashing?
Let me know, perhaps we can find an alternative solution.
