Hi, sorry if I'm covering old ground but I am recently new to Fitbit. I have a Fitbit Charge HR and yesterday logged 13500 steps. When home I took off my tracker for a couple of hours and when I put it back on I had lost 4500 steps?

@r_wilson Welcome to the community! Great to see you around!

Have you had a chance to review your online Dashboard if all your steps synced over? The online Dashboard is the server where all your data is synced, so checking that for concerns of accuracy is always a good idea.

Also, steps can be lost if you are wearing your Charge HR to track steps and then manually log an activity for the same timeframe that you were tracking steps with the Charge HR. The manually logged activity will overwrite the steps tracked by the Charge HR and will possibly negate steps. Hope this helps to clear it up.

Hi, thanks for this.

Yesterday at around 18:00hrs my device and synced Dashboard showed around 13500 steps. I then took off the device. A couple of hours later when I went to put the device back on the device and dashboard were down by 4500 steps??
