To save battery when out in the mountains, with no cell service, I switch my Samsung Galaxy S4 into Airplane Mode. This switches off Wifi and Bluetooth, which shuts off the connection to the fitbit app on the phone, losing connection to fitbit.com. After my hike, back in cell service, I toggle off Airplane Mode back to receive calls and messages. The fitbit app connection is gone and won't reconnect to the tracker. I have a Surge. Says "Tracker not found". Have to manually delete and re-add the tracker in order for it to sync the data back off the tracker to the fitbit app and/or website. This is a huge pain in the butt! I utilize other apps on my phone while hiking, but don't need to drain the battery when I'm out for hours. Please help!

@rmorton That's definitely odd behavior. I recommend updating to the latest version of the Fitbit App for Android and then giving it another try. Keep me posted.
