Lost data after update

Over the past couple of days, I have had a Versa update and My Google Pixal 2XL just updated to Android 10. Now, I have lost all my data back to September 28. When I sync my phone the data still does not appear. For example, I have completed 5 days this week of daily activity goals and now my phone only shows today as "1 of 5 days".  Any way to get this information restored?  Your suggestions are appreciated.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if this was the first time you experienced such situation or you experienced this in the past? Which mobile device are you using to sync your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.

Hello, Ricardo,

I appreciate you taking the time to reply.  Unfortunately, after going through the steps you provided, the device still did not work.  I believe there is a defect in the unit.  We have returned it to the place of purchase and are getting a new device.
