Hello there @Shazzie20, let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering in which way you lost your steps? it was on your Dashboard or your trackers did not sync correctly the information?
There could be different reason your step counter is missing regarding syncing multiple trackers. it's possible that the step total you see on the mobile dashboard has not updated immediately with your new tracker's data.
1. Open the Devices page either by tapping on your tracker icon or the account tab right next to it..
2. Find your tracker and tap on it to open the screen.
3. Tap Sync Now.
For best results and the most accurate dashboard, switch your trackers and remember to sync each one before removing it.
All Fitbit trackers are highly accurate when worn correctly, so prioritizing the data of one tracker over another is usually arbitrary. We do that by running algorithms that reconcile the overlapping data according to certain criteria. For example if one of your trackers has GPS data and the other one does not, we'll choose the GPS data when calculating your total distance since GPS is a better indicator of distance than step-counting alone.
Hope this helps, see you later!
