Manual swim entry bug

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
The new update has introduced a bug into manually entered swim logs. Even when the distance unit of metres is selected for use with swim logging, the ap now only asks for distance in miles. This has even affected previous logs: so an entry with distance 1,000m entered last week now displays 971m, after rounding errors going in/out if miles.

Yesterday I woke up and looked at my FitBit to see what time it was...and my screen was blank. I logged on to my FB premium account and saw that they had rolled out a new interface. I plugged it into my charging cable for several hours and nothing happened. I tried to contact FitBit but it said call volume was high, so I tried again today and talked with a rep. He asked me some questions about had I tried charging it by computer and by plugging in...yes, I had done both of those things. He asked me if the green light flashes...which it had done a few times but had stopped. He also asked if it had vibrated, and it did this morning but nothing happened and that stopped too. He told me he would have someone contact me by email. They did right away, but they said since my FitBit was out of warranty, they would not replace it but would give me a discount on a new one. TWO days ago, my Fitbit was fully functional and operating...the day that their new interface happened...MY FitBit is DEAD. I am NOT happy...and I would like to know if this happened to anyone other than me. It seems insane that they roll out something that fries my device and they expect me to pay for a new one...they won't even pay for the shipping! My FitBit was purchased in April of 2021...not even 2 years ago.
