Manually Adding Swims in the App but it auto changes the length.

I don't use my Fitbit Charge 2 in the pool. I have a separate swim watch that counts the number of laps based on the size pool I am in. (Primarily 25m).

Now, I used to log these manually and was fine. Since the update in the app when I log manually it auto changes the distance to an incorrect length so it's now miscalculating calories and everything else.

I input the date, time, and time of swim (60mins), then distance swam in metres (25m x number of laps). But it changes the distance I've swam ALWAYS!

Example - Thursday 14th March 2024. Swam at 7.30am for 60minutes and did 50 laps of a 25m pool. Therefore 50 x 25m is 1250. My watch now says 1143.

Very annoying. Do I need to change a setting for pool length somewhere that I can't find. (There isn't an option on my watch so would need to be in the app). Or does it not believe pools are 25m?

Help?

Hello @UserNotRandom and welcome to the Community.  I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for this issue.  Did this start with the most recent version of the Fitbit app or since the new redesigned version?

This doesn't happen on the iOS version.

I haven't used the app for a year or so. I've come to use it again and it's the first time I've tried adding swims as before I used to just manually add swim and the amount of time and it did everything else for me.

Now, it asks me for number of laps so I add it on. The only thing I have noticed is it sometimes says "add in a real value" so I assume that's why it changes it. BUT when the pool I swim in is 25 metres, why won't it let me add on laps in increments of 25?  Is there a setting so I can say "laps are 25" so it allows it.
