I use the FitBit app, along with my Flex, to track my exercise. One thing that is missing, that I thought was there in the past, is the ability to add Distance when manually logging an activity. For example, when I log Elliptical, Stationary Bike, or other cardio workouts, it would be great to be able to enter all of the information for the activity including calories, duration, and distance.
It looks like it could be added if I used the Web based dashboard. Why not on the app?

I did notice that there are a few activities (e.g., Hike, Bike, Spinning) that allow for distance inputs on the Android App; but, manually created ones and most others (e.g., Stationary Bike, Elliptical, etc.) don't. I may try logging indoor cardio machine activity as "spinning" and see if that works for logging miles in addition to steps.
It appears that even if I manually enter distance on an activity such as Spinning, it doesn't affect the total distance for the day. That's a shame since steps don't accurately register for activities such as biking and indoor "stationary" activities that equate to miles (e.g., treadmill, spinning, elliptical, etc.)
