Manually added exercise not showing Heart Rate on Android App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I manually "added" an exercise on July 10, 2024 using the Android app on my phone (V4.20.1) and it fails to display the heart rate graph. All it shows is "Duration" and "Energy Burned." On the PC Dashboard, the Heart Rate chart would automatically be graphed when logging an exercise manually. Please add this feature to the app.

Hi, @nbljohn24, welcome to the community, the best place to provide feedback is at  Fitbit Community, you can use the search bar to see if anyone has put forward a similar suggestion that you can vote for. It's easy to put forward your own detailed proposal, the board is constantly monitored.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

It has the same problem when you edit the duration of the exercise. I often forget to start the app when I start exercising and then start it after. I go back and edit the right time. The app ought to display the right heart rate and recalculate calories burned also. It does not.

Manually added exercises are to be added when the user is not wearing their fitbit. Fitbit doesn't even use step counts from the tracker.

@Rich_Laue The strange thing is that on the former PC platform, if you added or edited an exercise, even when you were wearing the Fitbit, the heart rate chart would be displayed for the edited exercise. Why can't the Android app duplicate that? All it needs to do is grab the HR data from when you were wearing it and add it to the time of your added or edited exercise.

In the web interface, there was 2 diferent spots to enter a past exercise.

The one place to enter, it did not look at any of the fitbit data.

When entering with the other spot, fitbit looked at all the data from the tracker. This will give the same result as if the tracker was used to record the exercise dj

So why cant the app work this way? That would be a question to ask Google or the developers, not the comunity of Fitbit users.

Have you searched the Product Feedback and left feedback for Google?
