Many features simply not working

I have a pixel watch 2 and android, many of the features in Fitbit have just stopped working. I get a time for my sleep but no stages, no sleep score, and no readiness score.

I'm paying for Fitbit premium and this is just an awful experience.

Does anybody know the best alternative to Fitbit now that there are so many unresolvable issues?

I'm having the same issue. Pixel watch 2 with Pixel 9 Pro XL phone. I'm happy it's not just me. Hey Google fix Fitbit!

Verified that no sleep stages or score started on January 12th, which coincides with the last release. Please fix this ASAP or roll back to the previous version.

I tried rebooting and reinstalling fitbit apps on both the phone and watch.

This morning January 27th, sleep details and score have magically returned! I don't see any updates but at least this is fixed. All the days between the 12th and 27th still only show Awake, Restless, Asleep. Also oddly the "Awake, Restless, Asleep" version of the sleep reporting consistently showed about an hour more sleep than the detailed view because of decreased logging of awake time.

That's good news! I'll keep an eye out for it working. Didn't work for me
last night, still just awake and asleep with no benchmarks and no recovery
or anything. Hopefully the fix is rolled out cause this is frustrating.

I also have a pixel 2 and have had the same issue with sleep stages the last two nights.

I've also found that the watch fails to track steps when I first get up and that the hourly step count sometimes decides later that no, I didn't get 250 steps in two hours ago even though it had said that I did.

I'm not exactly sure what fixed my pixel watch 2 <-> pixel 9 pro XL sleep
tracking details. I removed fitbit from my Android phone, removed it from
the watch and then reinstalled them both and logged back in and restarted
both the phone and the watch and then *a couple days* later it started to
log sleep properly again.

I also started my fitbit premium 6 months free subscription the week before
I did all that but that didn't change anything (even though the fitbit
screen on the phone said pay us now to see more sleep detail). Sleep detail
is NOT a fitbit premium feature.

And now today my Pixel watch 2  is not showing sleep details again. OMG. My wife's Fitbit Sense 2 has been logging sleep details without issues all this time.

Yeah, these issues are so frustrating. I'm looking at other options. I wish
I could get a refund for the premium subscription.

My previous 3 smart watches were Garmin and I decided to try the Google Pixel Watch 2 this time to go with my Google phone. Hopefully they will get it figured out soon.

I rebooted the watch and phone yesterday and today the sleep details are working again. So weird.
