Meals on dash vs. meals on app

My custom meals I enter on the Dash Board are not syncing/showing up on the FitBot Android App.  Any suggestions on how to sync the two?  Everything else syncs up fine.

I'm also having synching issues when I edit a meal on the dashboard. The foods I add to the meal show up but the original foods that I deleted on the dashboard when editing also still show up in the app.

I find that in the app swiping down on the screen with the food list does force a synch and brings up any edits from the dashboard (just doesn't address the problem I listed above).
