Decided to buy another Fitbit product after mine died several months ago. Just set up my Luxe and all software is up-to-date. There used to be a drop down arrow in the Android app for measurements (grams, ounces, pounds, tsp, tbsp, cups etc.) It's no longer there. I've read other people have "found" the invisible drop down but it doesn't matter where I tap, I'm basically stuck with whatever is showing on the screen so I have no idea how to measure my food - ounces, cups, TBSP, etc. This is a terrible flaw and, according to this forum, has been an ongoing issue...since 2019??!!

OK... Your screenshot looked nothing like what I see on my app!!! I managed to replicate it by altering the screen zoom on my phone. When I set my phone to be zoomed to the maximum value, yes... the serving measurement option disappears, and the 'Edit Custom Food' option is also rendered invisible. By playing with the zoom setting (it's in the Android display settings - or you can simply search for it within the settings app on your phone), the 'serving/measurement' does become visible and usable - when the zoom level has been reduced/set to 50%. It looks like, however, any option to amend the measurement setting is based upon the initial measurement that was set for the food in the first place (e.g. if anything was set with a weight unit, you can only change to a different weight unit... same as with any liquid measurement, you're only then given the options of setting a different volume unit)
Edit: Just played with the app on full zoom again...I can get the invisible units drop down to appear by tapping the screen in between the serving size number and the calorie value. Not always 100% of the time, though, even though the screen on my Galaxy S10 is quite large and there is a distinct gap between serving size and energy value. But if there's nothing visible for a user to tap on, why would they tap in a blank space? Edit end 🙂
This would appear to be an accessibility issue with the fitbit app on Android devices - any user who is visually impaired and has to set their device to be zoomed in (or, for those folks who feel that the default way in which apps are displayed is simply too small) are missing out on important functionality because the app doesn't look to respond to the zoom in the way that I feel it should. Users shouldn't have to adjust their display settings in order to use an app. then set it back to where it initially was so that they can comfortably navigate and use their phone

Measurement units for foods/drinks is present.......
When you go to add a new custom food, or to log an amount of an existing food, just press/tap on the unit that's already there (in the case of a new food being added, the default value is 'bar') then you'll get the options for the unit. It's not an explicit 'arrowed' entity
It's on the same line as/and is the 'Serving size' option

You, Sir, are brilliant!! I have my system font size larger than the default. Otherwise, I would be putting reading glasses on for 10 seconds then removing them for a minute while working on my computer (large monitors) then back to readers for my phone. My entire work day is spent using my phone and computer. 100% agree this is an issue that must be fixed by Fitbit because it makes the app partially unusable for anyone who has any vision issues. I did find (accidentally) a work around but, sadly, it only works about 60% of the time. If you tap on the "Service Size" section, then tap the lower-right "enter" button (on my keyboard, it's a blue key with an arrow pointing to the right), a list of available measurements will show and you can choose from that list. HOWEVER, there are times where the measurements will briefly show then disappear so it's impossible to change. I really appreciate all the work you put into this - you're amazing!!

OK... if anyone is impacted by this accessibility issue, I've raised a feature suggestion at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Zoom-screen-and-or-large-fonts-in-the-Android-ap...
