It is a while ago I read some articles about the possibility to measure blood sugar level with the Fitbit Ionic. So I was wondering what the status is and how it will work ? Hopefully it would also be possible with the Versa.

What I expect you are thinking about was not the Ionic actually measuring blood sugar, but having an app that would accept the reading from another company's device that is implanted just under the skin and transmits readings via bluetooth.  I haven't heard any recent update on that.

  But I would not expect the Ionic, or any similar device, to be able to actually measure blood sugar, at least for several years, if ever.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
