I bought the blaze and then bought a samsung galaxy s8. I am not receiving text messages on my blaze. Is there a way to correct this problem?

It may not be possible to fix. There is a lengthy thread on the S8 here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Samsung-Galaxy-S8-compatibility/m-p/1946855
In there it explains that the S8 is not fully supported by fitbit.
