Hi
Changed over to google the other day, android devices tablet and phone. Since then I can receive messages but the reply area is gray on both devices. Worked fine on fitbit. Spoken to support who spent over twenty minutes having me reinstall app, restart phone, re linking watch, etc nothing worked. He then hung up on me and never rang back. Any ideas how to fix problem? BTW had two accounts, deleted old account before switching
Best AnswerHello @JohndJohnd
To help us better understand the problem you're experiencing, what messages are you not able to reply to?
Which Fitbit device are you using?

Best AnswerHello @JohndJohnd , @Nebraska1234
So far, I haven't seen any other reports/threads in the Fitbit forums of not being able to send a message from the Charge 5 (or 6) as you described.
Please submit this using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:
The feedback reports are received by the team for review.
I'll continue to monitor the forums for reports of users experiencing similar issues. If I learn of anything, I'll report back.

Best Answer@JohndJohnd Samsung has its own text app that is the default on those devices. Samsung doesn't always play nicely with Google/Fitbit. If you tap on the device icon in the upper left of the Fitbit app and then select your device, you'll have the option to view and edit your notification settings.
Select "Text messages" and you should get a screen that looks something like this
The first Messages app is Google and the second is Samsung. If you are currently using the Samsung Messages app, I would recommend switching to the Google app and see if that works better with the Fitbit app.
