My fitbit no longer shows steps, and I cannot find the alarm settings, even though previously set alarms have been going off (I want to turn it off). I have tried logging off and on, as well as restarting the device.

Hello there @StoneAF, good to see you around. If the steps are missing either it could be the tile is hide or your tracker is not longer paired to your account which will explain the silent alarms.
So let start with make sure your tracker is paired to your account. If you go to your Account tab, you should be able to see your tracker's tile. If you are not able to see your tracker, you just need to add your tracker back on your existing account.
On your app, tap on Account Tab. Then you will see the screen from below, so the only thing you need to do is tap on set up a device.
By selecting the option from above you will be able to add your the other tracker and replacing the existing one.

I would like to check on this so, are the step and distance tiles showing values in 0, or are the tiles not showing at all? If you're not able to see the steps and distance tiles at all, it would mean that the tracker is not set up in your account, so you would have to set it up back in your account. After you set it up, you will see the values again, and you will be able to manage alarms.
