Missing 'Today' Heart Rate Curve

My wife's Inspire 3 device didn't display the 'Today' Heart Rate curve in the morning about 50% of the time, but her heart rate data always showed up on the Fitbit Online Dashboard and there were never any breaks in the curve.

My Inspire 3 device always displayed the Today Heart Rate curve every morning for more than two months, so I gave my device to her to use, assuming that her device was defective.

I was surprised to see that my device was behaving in exactly the same way when my wife wore it; no Today Heart Rate curve displayed about 50% of the time.

What would cause the Today Heart Rate curve to not be displayed on the app, even though the heart rate measurements looked totally normal on the Fitbit Online Dashboard?

Thanks for the heads up, @RiekoC .

It isn't on Playstore yet, but I hope that it resolves the missing HR curve issue.

A Father's Day surprise gift of getting back the old sleep stage charts would be nice too.

But Bill, you have the same Fitbit device and the same app, isn't that correct?  You never mention anything having about a display problem on your watch app display.  If that is so, Isn't the only difference your wife's phone vs yours?

No, @JohnnyRow , that's the interesting part.  My wife and I both have Samsung S10 phones, running with the same OS version.

I also wore the Inspire 3 device that my wife is currently wearing for more than two months before giving it to her and I almost always got sleep stage charts and all the heart metrics every day, so it is a complete mystery to me what is going here.

However, it's hard to argue that the missing HR curves aren't app related, given the information that is currently available.

I wasn't saying necessarily the same phone brand or model, just the physical phone; don't know why, but isn't that the only difference?  Perhaps the amount of available memory available, other apps running, cache clearing, who knows, but if the physical phone is the only difference, . . ?

Sounds more like a corner-case SW problem to me,  but the app SW developers are the only people who can determine if that is actually the case or not.

We downloaded the V4.19 app update yesterday and the 'Today' Heart Rate curve was still missing in the Heart tile this morning, so this issue has still not been resolved yet.

I see that logging out of the app, clearing app cache, force-stopping the app, restarting the phone, logging back into the app, and then resetting the Inspire 3 device has reportedly fixed other unexplained issues, so I just completed those actions to see if that does anything.

Well, that didn't work either, so we're still looking forward to receiving another device firmware and/or app software update that finally does resolve this problem.

I am still cautiously optimistic at this point in time, but my wife actually got the Today HR curve,  detailed sleep stage charts and ALL five Heart Metrics every day so far this week, which is the first time that has happened since she first started wearing her Inspire 3 device in March of this year.

She is still running with V194.91 FW and V4.19 SW, so the performance improvements must have been made on the server side, which is very much appreciated!

Hello @Bill_209

I'm almost hesitant to say "Yay!" as I don't want to jinx this.

Thank you for letting us know that your wife is finally seeing her data. Hopefully, this will continue without problems.

This does seem too good to be true, @RiekoC , but I definitely like the new app data trend so far.
