MobileTrack can't be set up/ Steps not syncing to Challenges

I have two issues.

Firstly, mobile track - it said this morning it was paired with another device, I clicked on the three dots to unpair and now the option for mobile track has disappeared completely!

Secondly, I am having issues with my steps syncing for challenges - it's about 10000 steps off from my actual total for the week!

I have the latest version of the app, I've restarted the app and my phone and still no luck. Any ideas?

@hrs374 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

I'd like you to confirm that the Android OS is 7.0 or higher. Also please confirm that your phone is listed as a compatible device here.

Regarding the steps that aren't syncing to your week's total, double check the following information:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

We also recommend waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
