MobileTrack keeps showing the message " Fitbit pedometer service is running notification"

How do I turn on notifications for MobileTrack? I keep getting a message that Fitbit pedometer service is running but when I click it it says I need notifications turned on which as far as I can see I have all notifications on. I'm confused

Hi there @LillieL, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about your issue. 

This notification will go away if you remove MobileTrack from your Fitbit account. 

In addition, please note since you're an Android user you can't use MobileTrack in addition to a Fitbit device. For more information about MobileTrack, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?

I'm not seeing an option for mobile tracking to turn on or off on my fitbit app on my Droid phone (galaxy s21+) Where is it?

I did unpair the mobile track but still have the pedometer banner...it is so annoying

Go to phone settings →Apps→Fitbit→Notifications→Select which notifications to turn off→ Trackers apps "off" 😎👍 I hope that helps

Turning off mobile track didn't work for me, I still keep getting the notification.

I did that but mine was called 'Sync Service's' I have android. Thank you!

If you turn off the notifications, isn't the Mobile Tracker still running in the background?  I don't want additional services running on my phone, draining the battery.

The traditional fix was to 'unpair' the mobile tracker, but yesterday, I started getting these notifications despite not having mobile tracker enabled.  I'd like to know for sure that this isn't running!
