I've recently noticed that my historical exercise data is missing. I saw some other threads on this issue and a Fitbit moderator said the issue is fixed on September 24th, but it clearly isn't. I can get the historical data to load if I enable data to show from both Fitbit AND Health Connect, but I only have Fitbit syncing to Health Connect, so I'm not sure why that allows me to see my data but just Fitbit doesn't?

With Health Connect:
You may say, "well, issue fixed! Just show data from Health Connect and you're good!" Except that's not a good solution because for some reason when I enable Health Connect, my step count, distance, and calories burned changes!

With Health Connect:
I'll reiterate this: Fitbit is the only data I have syncing to Health Connect. I have no other apps or trackers that would be syncing data with Health Connect and I am not using my phone to track activities. I know there have been so many issues with steps not syncing between Watches and the Fitbit app, so maybe this is part of it? But I'd think if Health Connect is receiving data only from Fitbit, then the data that shows in the Fitbit app SHOULD match when Health Connect data is synced!
I don't know what's going on over at Google, but there are a ton of bugs within the last month or so and they aren't just minor inconveniences. This has become incredibly frustrating to deal with and makes me want to ditch Fitbit since I first joined in 2016.

Hello @xlevix10
There has been a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to see completed workout data in the Fitbit app. From what I read, the 4.26.1 app update was supposed to fix the issue. Obviously, this wasn't the case.
I saw recent Moderator posts after version 4.26.1 rolled out (post 25 Sep 2024) that acknowledged the issue. They also mentioned that an update for the Fitbit Android app would start rolling out. Today (09 Oct 2024), I see there's a pinned Moderator post announcing the rollout of version 4.27. The app updates tend to roll out in waves. Keep checking the Play Store for the app update and install it when it's available.
Let us know if you're still having issues after installing the app update.

Thank you, @RiekoC. I've been constantly checking the Play Store for an update but no luck yet. I'll continue checking and test for a day or two to see if this issue is resolved. I hope this and the step sync issue get fixed with this update, but my hopes are low.

You're welcome @xlevix10
I've been checking the Play Store and am still waiting for the update, too.
All the recent issues have been frustrating for all of us. Like you and others, I'm having problems with data & step syncing. The fixes can't come soon enough.

Well I received the update today and historical exercise data is unfortunately still missing.
