Most recent update on Charge 2, Android

Ever since this past update, the app won't sync, nor will the Fitbit itself keep accurate readings. I have to power my down and back on for it to sync to this **ahem** update on the app!

I rely on this app all day long and have never had problems with it...till now! I just busted my **ahem** on the elliptical, and when my heart rate is usually "peaking," the app and my watch were saying "fat burn"??!! Not accurate!

And yes: I had restarted my Fitbit, too.

Fix this **ahem**ty update, or lose my business. So disappointing, Fitbit!!

Hello @mrfaulk1 and @maclynnie.

@mrfaulk1, None of the Kindle Fire devices are compatible so the syncing with it might not be stable. From what you're telling me, in regards to the syncing, you used to sync with your Droid Turbo and your Kindle Fire. For the notifications, I'm assuming they were turned on on your phone, correct?

Could you check if your Fitbit shows on your Kindle's Bluetooth settings?

@maclynnie What phone are you using to sync?

Look forward to your replies.

it seems to be syncing again,  just not consistent. This morning, it did the same thing, it showed my steps but didn't show that it had synced.  then about an hour later is did the full sync, showed my sleep, HR etc.   I am using a Samsung galaxy core prime -   it's working just not like it used to work several weeks ago.  the other weird thing is I have the all day sync turned off, but it is still syncing during the day-   is it supposed to automatically sync when you go to the App, with the all day sync off?  I thought that you had to manually sync.   I am curious about this because I turn off all day sync because it drains my battery.

I reinstalled the Fitbit app to see if the update had been fixed.

Hello @maclynnie and @mrfaulk1.

@maclynnie Becauce the Galaxy Core Prime is not a supported devices, we're not able to guarantee that it will work correctly because the app is not fully optimized to work with that phone. Do you have another device or a computer that you could use?

@mrfaulk1 Does your tracker show no both your kindle and your phone's Bluetooth settings?

Look forward to your replies.

The Samsung Galaxy Core is on your list. I don't know what the distinction is between it and the Core "prime".  It does work with the Fitbit,  this morning it synced perfectly the first time I tried it.  But I just tried and it is not, so hit or miss...     this Fibit worked vey well at syncing for a very long time, only until the last month or so has it had problems.

GPS is still screwed up; doesn't count about .4 miles of our daily walk.
Just cuts out on the map.

I was able to sync without turning my phone off and on today.

Hey @maclynnie and @mrfaulk1.

@maclynnie Some of the hardware used in the Core Prime and the Core is different. The incompatibility could stem from there.

For your computer, you can follow the instructions in here to run the setup through a computer (look for the Fitbit Connect section). To do the syncing, click on 'Sync Now' instead of Set Up A New Device.

@mrfaulk1 It is possible that the GPS connection failed for a little moment. That can happen when there are lots of trees or buildings nearby, or even on very cloudy days.

Glad to hear about the syncing. Hopefully it will continue like that.

Let me know if there are any further questions.
