Hi all, just got my Charge 2 and love it but for one thing. I cannot get it to sync seamlessly as it should but I have found a workaround that works for me.
I have a Motorola G4 with Marshmallow, an unsupported device by fitbit, which seems crazy to me, but there you have it.
I went through all the helps docs, did everything, re-installs, location and sync setting adjustments, deleting apps that may conflict, etc. I went as deep as you can go in the help docs and message threads to no luck, until I found one tip that worked.
The only thing that has worked for me is going into the bluetooth setting of my phone, upnpairing the device, repairing, and then going back into the fitbit app. Its a ugly workaround but its the only thing that works for me so far.
So maybe this will help someone until Fitbit gets the moto G4 on board, if ever. Let me know if I am misinformed about something or put something incorrect in here. Cheers

Hello there, @Staceygoulden! Thanks for joining in! Hmmm...please try the following troubleshoot to correct this situation.
- Restart your tracker.
- On your mobile device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Turn off Bluetooth, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Reboot your mobile device.
If you're still not receiving notifications after trying the troubleshoot posted above, set up your notifications again. Tell your mobile device to "forget" your tracker:
- On your mobile device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap your tracker and then tap Forget Device.
- Log out of the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your mobile device.
- Restart your tracker again. (doing it a few times does the trick sometimes)
Turn on notifications for your tracker, the instructions differ by device, but in most cases:
- Open the Fitbit app, under device settings, tap Notifications > turn on the notifications you want to receive.
Hello guys, @John2charge, @Rick_H! It is nice to see you and thanks for being so helpful with our new friend. You don't need all day syncing to be On in this case though.
Checking that you have the option to allow notifications from other Apps on your phone's settings is important as well, you can do this from the settings of your Android and then choose Notifications, there you will see all Apps and choose to turn the option On for Fitbit.
This should get you back on track, but keep us updated if it doesn't!

Thank you SolangeFitbit for your help but unfortunately I've already tried all of those steps and Googled every trick possible! It still does not fully connect to my phone! Ex. Sms and calls! I'm very disappointed in Fitbit! I was looking forward to using such a great product that I've heard so much about! However, I had to switch to Garmin because it connects perfectly! Maybe in the future I'll purchase a Fitbit again when I
upgrade my phone! Thanks
