I have had a Charge hr for about 6 months. I just received a Surge. I have added the surge to my account through the add device feature. My issue is that my app is always trying to sync with both fitbits. I am at work wearing my charge and the surge is at home 5 miles away. I open my app and it is trying to sync both devices. After about 2 minutes it will stop attempting to sync the surge and will then sync the charge that I am wearing. Both devices have all day sync turned off. Is this common? Its just very time consuming. Is it possible to just turn the device im not wearing off? Or for my app to not attempt to always sunc with both?

Hello @jornat9699 I glad to see you around in our community. If these conditions occur regularly I recommend to shut off your Surge when it's not in use. Not only will this prevent false data readings, but it will also conserve battery life on your tracker. Although I find weird that despite your Surge is in your home miles away your app try to sync with both trackers.
Try to shut down the Surge to see if this prevent your app try to sync:
1. Scroll to the Settings screen on your Surge and select "Shutdown."
2. Answer the "Are You Sure? confirmation message.
Keep me posted how it goes.

Hello @peterbea142. It seems in your case is the other way around. My first suggestion here is to take a look at this article: I can't sync my tracker and if none of these is working then try to set up your Surge as a new device again on your existing account just like you do with the Charge HR only than this time do with Surge.
Something that help me sometimes, is to log out from my account and reboot my phone, perhaps you can give it a try too in case you haven't.
See ya later.
