My Calorie Count Has Doubled

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Google Watch 3, as of the update that occurred this morning my calorie count has doubled. During an elliptical workout I normally do my actual burn is around 600- 700 calories. Today the same workout logged 1200 calories. Also during resting hours it'd marking 300 calories burned instead of the normal 115- 150. Has anyone else experienced this with the new Google Watch update?

Hi @Avillat316   I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for PW device/app issues.

I'm having the same issue. My watch said I burned 10,000 calories yesterday, when I usually burn around 3,000 with the same level of activity. It definitely seems like a bug with the new update.

I've seen other posts about this issue and users are reporting that clearing the cache of the Fitbit app on the watch and the phone fixed the problem after restarting both devices.

Same problem. Calorie counts have gone through the roof and are very inaccurate.

Did not work for me. Got a new phone, factory reset the watch, still have the issue
