My Fitbit Charge 2 won't sync

Hi so I've had my fitbit charge 2 for about 2 years now and I ran into my first problem with it. My phone app said it cant find my device despite to being no more than a foot away from me on my wrist. I have bluetooth on and my phone said its paired with it. Yet the fitbit app says "No Device Found". How do I fix this? Like I said, everything works but this.

Hi @Dictaorofcheese. Welcome! It's good to see a new face around.

Thanks for letting me know about your Charge 2 and the syncing issues experienced. This shouldn't be happening if your tracker is next to your phone, so let's try some steps together.

  1. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby. This is just for this process.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen and tap on the force stop option.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your Charge 2.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > Charge 2 > sync now.

Let me know how it goes.
