My fitbit will not update

My fitbit will not update.  It is currently a day behind and will not sync with my phone at all.  I have turned my fitbit on and off as well as my phone and have signed out and back into the app.  Everytime I search for the fitbit to reconnect it, it says no device found.  I have tried all 3 things it says to do and retry connecting it and it continues to say no device found.  Any suggestions on what to do?

Let me help you with your Fitbit not syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which Fitbit device do you have? Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
