Why did the Fitbit App update for Alta on Android introduce the new interface that is, in my opinion, two steps back? Instead of having a crisp display and easy to read parameters on one screen, I must now slide through two screens and put on my glasses to decipher what are the actual parameter values.
Moreover, the icons shapes and arrangement are changed only in the root screen - all other screens remain the same.
Finally, the Alta user can enter exercise details and water consumption for past days using the Fitbit App alone. Not so for food - one has to login to the online Fitbit dashboard and use a complicated process of entering food details for each meal.
I talked to Fitbit Tech Support at least twice about those issues and they promised to do nothing. Perhaps I should consider other brands when going for the Altima upgrade in near future.
