I bought a new Nord Plus 10 phone and now my fitbit Versa 2 won't sync with it. I can manually sync it and get my sleep and heart rate info but it won't connect to my phone so I can get calls and message notifications. I had an iphone before this but the screen is completely broken and the service is off. I mention this because I keep seeing tips that mention turning off bluetooth and old devices. This would be impossible for me to do since my old phone is broken.
I've tried deleting the app and turning my phone off and then on, re-downloading the app and trying everything again and it's still not working.
Is this phone not compatible with the fitbit?

@Libtasker Hi there. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried and the details mentioned.
Please confirm that a compatible operating system is running on your phone, it should be Android 7.0 or higher. If your phone has it, please follow this syncing troubleshooting.
Also make sure that the notifications are properly set in your phone.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Libtasker you say in your title that the tracker will not sync through the phone, then in the message you say it will not sync but will sync when you request
Can not get notifications?
Are you saying that the tracker will not sync throughout the day, but only when the Fitbit app is open in the foreground?
I would look at these android tips. It may be that the Phones OS closes the Fitbit app when moved to the background. Which would explain both issues.
One thing to try is to close the Fitbit app, restart phone, (this will load only the Fitbit background services), do not open Fitbit but have someone send a text message. If this works, turn power management off for the Fitbit app.
