So the new Versa 3 band connectors are...horrible. Don't buy. The screen on my 2-3 month old Versa 3 is cracked. Why? Because as I was putting my arm through my backpack strap it caught the band. The band connector to the watch came off and the watch snapped to the cement...cracked. Band did not 'break', it was not loose and did not come unbuckled. The band on one side just disengaged from the watch. Of course there's no warranty on a cracked screen, just a possible discount on a new one. This one I just bought on discount because my last one just stopped working for no reason. This is so frustrating. I'm so freaking over Fitbit right now. Seriously.

I want to let everyone know that after contacting Fitbit Support through chat today, I am very happy to say that they are replacing my Versa 3. The agent was great, no arguments, directed me on what she needed (a pic of the broken watch, where I bought it, and contact info) all of which I provided in the chat and they are sending me a replacement straight away. So pleased with them. Juliana has restored my faith in Fitbit.
However, before I wear the new one I'm absolutely going to get a screen cover/protector and STRONGLY advise anyone having the new 'ergonomic' band fasteners to do the same. If you catch the watch on something it can and will disengage from the watch face and send it flying. Protect the watch face before wearing it. Word.
