I have got a new phone and want to transfer the app from old to new. I have had to set it up as new on my new phone and now the old data is not there. It also doesn't recognise my email address. Is there anywy i can get this information transferred?

Did you back up your old phone first through your gmail account? Once you do that, when setting up a new Android phone for the first time you should have been asked if you wanted to transfer all your opld apps.

No, i didn't back it up. I don't usually use my gmail account. I think i may have put in an incorrect email the first time i set it up as i never received any emails from Fitbit and having set it up from new on my new phone, i have straight away got emails. I need to find a way of somehow finding the old app details to be able to sync it to the new one. Maybe a lost cause!

You don't need to transfer data between phones or through google. You should be able to sign into any fitibit app with your user name and password and all of your data should be there. What data is missing exactly?

For data transfer between two phones, you can use professional mobile data transfer tool, it is not possible to transfer data directly between phones. Some professional transfer programs allow you to share data between android phones in a easy way.

The Fitbit data is not stored on your device, other than small amounts before syncing. All your personal data is stored in the Fitbit database. Using same email address as you used as Fitbit ID on other phone give you access to all your data.
Perhaps your issue is if you tried to set it up as a new device which it is not.

I have encountered this problem before. Then I used Yolisoft Phone Data Transfer to help me out. You can also have a try.
