In general I really do not like the new readiness system. It no longer takes into account the previous workouts. One day I logged 208 zone minutes due to an extremely intense tennis match. I was beat up after that. The next day my readiness score was 66. There was no way I was ready for any exercise other than light stretching. I did get a good sleep that night. The old readiness system would have recognized the previous day's workout and noted I should have a light day. Admittedly, the old system would create tough goals sometimes but it worked great. What is the point of the new system?

Hello @kellysails
The new Daily readiness score looks at different factors to determine if your body is ready to continue to do workouts or if your body needs recovery time. My apologies if you've already looked at the Daily Readiness help page which explains more about the new scoring.
The old Readiness score also gave us AZM targets. Cardio load and Target load will be the new targets with the updated Daily Readiness score. The Cardio & Target loads are now rolling out to the Pixel Watch 1 & 2, as well as several Fitbit devices. This page explains more about these new features and includes which Fitbit devices will get this feature: What are cardio load and target load (<-- click link). These new targets will take into account your previous day's activities, including workouts, as well as your readiness score.

Excellent! This is exactly what I am looking for. It looks much more comprehensive than the original readiness score. When will it rollout to Versa 3 users. I see that versa 3 is a supported device.

Hello @kellysails
I haven't seen a timeline for the rollout. However, I suspect that this feature might be rolling out with the latest app update, version 4.32. I saw a Moderator post in another thread that the update just started rolling out this week (10 Dec 2024).
The app updates roll out in waves. So keep checking the Play Store and install the update when you see it available for you.
