I track daily walks using the tracking feature on my Android phone with GPS. Since Monday 7/29, there is no longer a tab for heart rate when I open the exercise event from the dashboard.

I forgot to add that I can see the heart rate on my Charge 3 while I am walking and it is syncing with my phone.

I'm having the same issue. Heart rate is showing, both on the screen and in the app (iPhone). When I start a new track (run, walk), the heart rate does not show up there, and it is not passed on to other apps (Strava). I can manually log an exercise for the same time period, and the heart rate will be included in that. But that log does not contain the GPS info. This stopped working for me between 7/21 & 7/29.

Do you have the new dashboard or the old dashboard.

Same here on the dates it quit working. Guessing it was a result of a software update.

Hi Rich - What is the most up-to-date version of the Android app?

I just checked and I am on the 3.2 version of the app. It looks like it quit tracking/showing the HR tab for tracked walks right after the update. I am guessing they don't show that any more for some reason.

Same issue since July 29th. I noticed the auto detected workout has the heart rate but when it's reconciled with the android manually started workout, it loses the heart rate

I am having the same symptoms starting same date after app update and have confirmed it's only with manually started tracking not 'sensed'.. I called and when I was finally able to get the specific info across told them to check the last Upgrade. They're saying it wasn't but facts are clear. Hope they fix it!

Same thing here. My wife and I are using fitbit HR alta. Makes no sense as the HR info is being captured. And it is the most important info for running. Now you have to decide, either you tracked the running session to get gps-related info but not HR, or you don’t tracked it so that you see HR info but you lose the GPS info...
This is rather silly; hopefully an unintentional oversight of the last update and it is going to be fixed. But if people are refusing to update the app in the future, I wouldn’t blame them
