No Mobile Track on OnePlus 6T & 3rd party apps not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I recently moved from iPhone to OnePlus 6T and the Fitbit app is not giving an option of Mobile Track which was available in iPhone. Also, I have enabled syncing with multiple 3rd party apps like strava, pear, trackmyride but none of the activities tracked in those apps are getting sync with Fitbit. Fitbit app doesn't show any of those activities. I really liked the Fitbit app but with all these issues on Android phone I might have to look at alternatives.

Regards,

Samarth

Welcome to the Forums @samarthp.

In regards to the MobileTrack option, this is happening because the OnePlus 6T is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

In regards to third-party apps syncing with your Fitbit app. If they worked on your iPhone they should continue to work without any issues since the syncing doesn't really have anything to do with the phone itself, it only happens between the services. My suggestion in that case, however, would be to disconnect all of the apps from your Fitbit account and then connect them once again.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply but the supported devices list seems to be fairly old. It just supports OnePlus One which is like a very very old OnePlus phone. I expected fitbit to support the latest OnePlus phones which are kind of flagship Android phones but yet fitbit chose to not support them.

Also, i tried disconnecting & reconnecting all the services again but still fitbit is not syning/showing any activity recorded in other connected services. I felt fitbit is simply useless for OnePlus devices and so removed the fitbit app as I do not see any use of it, nothing is working on app!

Regards,

Samarth

Hello @samarthp.

Thanks for sharing those details with us.

Please know that our team is well aware of the need to further expand the list and to include more devices. At this moment we do not have anything to announce on the matter.

In regards to the other apps, this started at the same time as you switched phones, is that correct? Do you still have access to your iPhone? If you do please try using the other apps on there and check if they do sync with Fitbit. The connection between apps is not dependent on the phone given that they sync through the web and not from app to app directly.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I apologize for the delay in my response.

At this moment we do not any news on the matter. Maybe you could support this suggestion to add that phone to the list. You can click here to see the suggestion. You can comment on it or vote for it to show your support for that idea. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
