After logging off of my Fitbit app and restarting my Fitbit, I had found that all of my recent foods are gone and no new ones have been listed under the recent. Is this the app's latest glitch or something like that?

Still not working properly today. Water seems to be fine but food is not. Shows 432 on front screen but 773 in the food screen where you log what you eat. Sometimes one of the entries goes away and then comes back later.

Same happened to me! Also my calories in on my watch are not the same when I press Food on the app! What happened Fitbit?

Yet another example of Google management pushing a release out the door with inadequate testing. Doesnt matter if development is in-house or outsourced - the project management and the product line management supervision of the project team ought to fix this or resign. That's my 42 years of SW & System development experience, including several stints fixing seriously broken projects (it's always a combination of technical and management, including up the management chain). This problem is reported on both iOs and Android, so I suspect either common code or the server side. The food tracking feature seems to have these sorts of problems every few releases. This on 4.67 I'm thinking. And it seems to appear on the new app being beta tested also.
Get a new test team, fund them, automate the test suite and augment it each release based on the kinds of escapes experienced.

Looks like we got both issues with the food as my calorie amount on the main page is not even due to certain selected food disappearing, reappearing, and disappearing again. Do you have any comment on that @MariLuFitbit?

@Rtkat3 asked, "Do you have any comment on that @MariLuFitbit?," and we wait but all we get is silence.
Now on top of all the other issues people have mentioned, the calories out are wildly different depending on where you look. On the main screen it looks pretty accurate, but in the graph of in versus out, it's stuck at 1005 yesterday in spite of a 15k run. Right, uh-huh. 🙄

Same issues

...and the calories balance do not refer to the updated value of calorie deficit. I Setted it to 500 a couple of week ago and the balance still shows red/green/blue referring to the old value of 250

That was happening to me for a bit too but they came back.

Agree, still having issues. Wish Google would actually beta test their stuff before releasing updates. It's not hard.

Same here, every update seems to mess something up every time

Not only these issues, my Recent Foods is not working. It's duplicating entries, new items are being added & it seems to change randomly. The list is so long now its almost unusable, maybe Fitbit should allow me to purge all entries or at least delete some, a sort function would be nice also.

Same issues, food input disappearing and/or duplicating and then calorie count incorrect. It's been over a week now...

Every update breaks something. It's never been a stable reliable app in the ten years I've been using it, only more recently it's rapidly losing the most basic functionality, with minimal communication to explain issues.

Concur 100 per with your assessment! I've said the same thing to Fitbit for years! It seems to be an ongoing issue with them! There always seems to be some issue when they push out updates! I also told them that... again ... on my last call with them a week ago.
I was in IT Software Development and Programming for years and we would test thoroughly before putting things into production! I believe those days are long gone ... Especially with Fitbit!

Keep us posted on the developments @MariLuFitbit.
EDIT: I found that my app updated at the Google Play Store and the Recent Food glitch that has no food appearing in that section has not been resolved. What's the status report on dealing with the app's latest glitch?

As I had mentioned, the Fitbit app did get upgraded. Nothing was fixed on the recent food glitch.
I'm just letting you know that @MariLuFitbit, @JuanFitbit, and @MarioSFitbit.
