What are wanting to do in the Charge 2, that the Charge 2 is telling you that it has no Internet.

I'm wondering because we know that the charge 2 can not talk to the Internet.

Hi just trying to do basic sync. I had tried multiple things and as a last resort unpaired it . No joy . I have rebooted samsung s7 with android 8.0.0 multiple times removed and installed fitbit app from Google Play Store have checked and enabled all notifications from the app . Home and cellular services working well can access internet totally all sites from phone can even log in through the fitbit web based portal. Now that unpaired will not let me re add my charge 2. You say that you can't add the Charge 2, but haven't stated if their is an error message and at what step the setup process failed at.

If it is the No Internet then

I would try removing the Fitbit app, restart, better yet shutdown the phone.

Start phone, check for updates to phone, update the PRL, usually found under phone settings, system updates

Install the Fitbit app and check Permissions.

I'm still not sure if the No Internet message was on the watch itself, like you say, or if it was on the Fitbit app, like I think?

If the error was on the app, removing the tracker will simply dig a deeper hole. Now the app doesn't know the tracker, your account doesn't have a connected tracker, and the app can not talk to Fitbit.

Instead I having one thing to fix we now have 3 things.

Did you remove the tracker from your Fitbit app, or only unpaid the tracker from the phones bluetooth, as you say.

Are you trying to add the Charge 2 to your Fitbit account or are you trying to pair the charge 2 to the phones Bluetooth?

By now I assume the message was/is on the Fitbit app.

My apologies yes on the App. Unfortunately yes I attempted to start all over so yes everything is askew at the moment.  I tried to reply via your email which I now realize was the wrong way to respond.  I have tried to remove and reinstall the App numerous times have rebooted my Samsung S7 and did all updates as you had suggested. I am using Android Version 8.0.0

I have enabled all permissions for the App on my phone. My set up had worked well for 2 years and then abt a week ago no joy. I did download the fitbit app on my tablet and will work however I really need the app to start working on my phone again. The only other change that occurred recently was upgraded to Fitbit Premium. Thanks for your reply and pls let me know any other possible workarounds. Thanks

It sounds like that through the tablet you have been able to setup the Charge 2 to your account, is thesis correct?

You say that the app on the phone does not work, in what way does it not work? Or to put it another way, what is not happening? Any error messages?

Does the app start up or crash?

Yes it is app on phone no crashing on the main screen that displays steps etc up at the very top margin NO INTERNET CONNECTION....yes all works on my tablet just need to figure out what changed that made the app no longer able to establish an internet connection...I discovered another user also had the same exact thing occur to her app last week......AD5NR

I had this issue for a while but finally resolved it. I went to settings -> connections -> more connection settings -> VPN. Then click on Lookout to disconnect it from the VPN. Viola
